MIRPURKHAS: Mango crop damaged

MIRPURKHAS, July 6: Mango crop has been badly affected by recent rains inflicting heavy losses to orchard owners and contractors. Growers and contactors Qadir Bux Lohar, Badar Alam, Mohammad Ismail, Mohammad Moosa Maher, Nooruddin Chandio said that Mirpurkhas was popular for mango production but the rains at the time of harvesting had damaged the crop.

This had resulted in its price escalation as most of the production was transported to Hyderabad, Karachi and other cities.
