KARACHI: Workers robbed

KARACHI, July 6: Employees of a pharmaceutical company located in Korangi Industrial Area were deprived of their valuables by armed robbers near Baloch Colony on Friday evening.

The robbers intercepted the vehicle they were traveling in and hijacked it to a locality opposite the City School’s PAF chapter. Holding them at gunpoint, the outlaws deprived the employees of their cellphones and other valuables, including the jewelry worn by the female staff, and fled the scene.

Before disembarking from the vehicle, they warned the victims against reporting the matter to police.—Staff Reporter
