NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, July 5: A 66-feet long calendar of 10,000 years or 100 centuries has been prepared on cloth by Haji Anwaruddin Abbasi - high school teacher of Mohbat Dero, Kandiaro taluka.

The 66-feet long calendar was shown to reporters on Thursday. The calendar displays past 20 and 80 future centuries with exact day and date he said and added that no one in the world had prepared a calendar of this sort.

He announced a prize of Rs100,000 to anyone who could challenge its accurateness.

In the demonstration he explained that a year ends on the day it begins except for leap year which ends with a day's difference.

Anwar Abbasi said his calendar carries additional information regarding important days and dates such as the golden jubilee of Pakistan on Wednesday, 14th August 2047.

“People made many attempts to rob my work and even attacked me,” he said and expressed fears of dangers still hovering around for which he sought protection from higher authorities.

He also slated the biased attitude of people who on several occasions tries to him transfer him from the school without a reason.
