KARACHI, July 5: An old man was crushed to death in a road accident in the limits of Baloch Colony police station on Thursday. Seventy-year-old Hafiz Syed Hamza was going home on his motorcycle (KCH-5206) on the Expressway near the Defence View police post, when an unknown vehicle struck his motorbike, leaving him seriously wounded. He was taken to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, where he was pronounced dead.

A resident of Bhutta Village, Muhammad Younus, 35, was riding his motorcycle (KBD-7236) when it was hit by an unidentified vehicle.—PPI
