Boosting air links with Malaysia

ISLAMABAD, July 4: Pakistan and Malaysia on Wednesday agreed to increase air links from the existing three weekly frequencies to 14. This understanding was reached at the conclusion of the bilateral air service agreement talks.

According to the MoU signed between the two sides, Malaysia will operate 14 frequencies to Lahore and Karachi, while Pakistani carriers would have equal number of frequencies to Kuala Lumpur and another point in Malaysia.

It was also agreed that airlines of both the countries will be allowed to operate unlimited number of frequencies exclusively for cargo operation.
