KARACHI, July 4: Four ships carrying DAP fertiliser, coal and containers are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was on the higher side where eight ships were berthed. They are: Mol Admiration, Kuo Cheng, Normandy, Corin Thaikos, APL Brisbane, Iran Tabataei, to unload and load containers, Swat to offload crude oil, and North Pole.

Five ships, Wan Hai-303, Harmony, Kuo Cheng, Joa Jay and Morgan departed on Wednesday, while APL Brisbane, Valabella, North Pole, Iran Tabatabaei, Soon Fue and Swat are due to sail out on Thursday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 145,045 tons comprising 23,545 tons of export cargo and 114,497 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due to arrive on Thursday: Rose, with crude oil, Const Harmony, with containers, Sohni, with DAP fertiliser and Alaco-M, with coal.
