This was decided in a meeting held in the Central Police Office on Tuesday. The meeting was chaired by the Adviser to Sindh Chief Minister on Home Affairs, Waseem Akhtar.

It was decided that a monthly report would be presented to Sindh IGP Ziaul Hassan Khan and stern action would be taken on the complaints against the corrupt officials.

After discussing various steps to improve the performance of police, the meeting decided that police record would be completed and reporting rooms would be established in all police stations within a month. Besides, it was decided that all necessary steps would be taken to fill the posts lying vacant in the police department.—PPI
