KARACHI, July 2: The provincial education and literacy department has constituted a 20-member committee for the Centralised Admission Policy (CAP), says a notification issued here on Monday.

The CAP committee is composed of education officers and college principals with Dr Rafique Ahmed Siddiqui, director-general (colleges), Sindh, as its chairman.

Prof Munawwar Shafique Khan, regional director (colleges), Karachi, and Prof Mohammad Asghar Khan, director (human resources), DG Office, are its co-chairperson and secretary/member respectively.

The other members of the committee are: Prof Arshad Jamal, Prof Abdul Sattar Baloch, Fakhar Karim Siddiqui, Prof Khursheed Haider Zaidi, Dr H.B. Chughtai, Dr Nasir Ansar, Mansoob Hussain Siddiqui, Prof Jalaluddin Chohan, Prof Mudassir Kamal Qureshi, Prof Sabiha Parvaiz, Prof Nuzhat William, Prof Mahjabeen Shaharyar, Prof Nafeesa Khatoon Qidwai, Prof Syed Mushahid Hussain, Prof Shahida Soomro, Prof Jameel Ahmed and Mohammad Afzal.

The committee is meant for admissions to Class XI for year 2007-08.
