Apropos of a news item captioned ‘KPT underpass flooded’, the Karachi Port Trust has denied that the underpass at Clifton was flooded by the Saturday spell of rain. A KPT statement says: “No flooding, whatsoever, has occurred in KPT Underpass in Clifton since the onset of rains. The Saturday evening rainfall in Karachi has not flooded KPT Underpass and it remained open for traffic during the downpour.”
