KARACHI, June 30: A bridge connecting Khuda ki Basti with Surjani Town was damaged while the water level in many of the city’s drains rose after Saturday afternoon’s rain.
EDO (Municipal Services) Masood Alam confirmed that the water in Lyari River and other nullahs is rising. He said that his team had reached the damaged bridge near Khuda ki Basti “but at the moment, I cannot say that the bridge was washed away.”
