KARACHI, June 28: Mohammad Hashim Qambrani, father of Olympian boxer Rasheed Qambrani and coach Younus Qambrani, died of cardiac arrest on Thursday. He was 95. He was also the father of international boxer Majeed Qambrani and all his seven sons are boxers.

His two grandsons, Mahmood Qambrani (12) and Abdul Hafeez Qambrani (14) have also taken up boxing.

The deceased was buried at the Lyari graveyard on Thursday afternoon.
