KARACHI, June 28: Six ships carrying coal, containers and to load naphtha and cement are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was active where half a dozen ships, Hyundai Future, Sinar Bandung, Y.M. Faha, Al-Ihsaa to unload and load containers, Banglar Maya to offload general cargo and Makran for repairs were berthed after the departure of five.

The ships, which departed included Al-Ihsaa, APL Shenzhen, Lucky Arrow, Chemstar Brave and Bunga Kenari, while Valentime-1, Y.M. Sun, Sinar Bandung, Makran and Oel Esteem are due to sail out on Friday.

A total tonnage of 0.129m tons comprising 18,648 tons of export cargo and 0.110m tons of import tonnage including 60,442 tons of liquid tonnage was handled on Thursday.

The following ships are due on Friday: Sea Princess and Red Sea Spirit to load 18,500 and 16,500 tons of cement, Sea Glory to load naphtha, Iran Hesabi to unload and load containers, Golden Lion to offload coal and Iron Butterfly with project cargo.
