Three killed in AJK accident

MUZAFFARABAD, June 27: Three people were killed and 26 others were injured when a passenger bus plunged into a ravine in Kotli district on Wednesday, police said.

An official said that the accident occurred after the tie-rod of the bus broke down near Ora Galli village. The bus was on its way to Palandari from Kotli.

Two people, Fayaz and Shahnawaz, died on spot while Asghar Hussain succumbed to his injuries on the way to hospital.

Sixteen of the injured people were taken to a hospital in Palandari, where the condition of four of them was stated to be critical.
