KARACHI, June 27: Hyderabad’s Rafi Darbari posted a straight 6-2, 6-0 victory over Army’s Sajid in the only match played in 35-plus singles in the third National Seniors tennis championship at Karachi Club on Wednesday.

Earlier, the event was supposed to commence from Monday but was deferred due to storm. Even on Wednesday the KC staff laboured for hours to clean the slippery courts.

Over 50 players are competing in different categories of the event.
