HYDERABAD: People asked to identify dangerous buildings

HYDERABAD, June 27: Hyderabad Development Authority Director-General Altaf Hussain Memon has asked city residents to identify dangerous buildings and inform the building control department on telephone No. 9200217 to enable it to take necessary steps in this regard.

Speaking at a meeting of HDA officials, he said that those buildings, which had already been declared dangerous and issued notices, should be voluntarily demolished to prevent any loss of life or property.

Meanwhile, provincial director, animal husbandry, Dr Ghulam Sarwar Shaikh, has expressed fear about spread of diseases among livestock due to rains.—Bureau
