QUETTA, June 25: Chief Minister Jam Mohammad Yousuf has said that President Gen Pervez Musharraf would be re-elected in uniform for a second term ‘to ensure continuation of the democratic process, political stability, strengthening of the parliamentary system and economic growth’.

Speaking at a public meeting in Harnai on Monday, the chief minister announced that the Harnai tehsil would be upgraded as a new district raising the number of districts to 30 in the province.

Mr Yousuf said his government was allocating funds for development projects in districts equally and maintained that the provincial government during the last five years had facilitated people in provision of facilities.

He said the Harnai woollen mill would be reactivated and the damaged railway track between Harnai and Sibi would be repaired soon.
