Man robbed at bank’s cash counter

ISLAMABAD, June 24: Burglars struck at two places and stole cash, gold ornaments and other valuables, police said here on Saturday.

Mohammad Amin lodged a complaint with the Aabpara police stating that he had gone to a bank in Melody, when some unidentified thieves stole his bag, containing Rs1.1 million, while he was talking to the bank’s cashier.

In another incident, Bashir Ahmad lodged a complaint with the Sabzi Mandi police stating that some burglars broke into his house at I-10/1 and looted cash, mobile phone and gold ornaments worth Rs85,000.
