LAHORE, June 23: Around 100 players belonging to 20 districts of Punjab will vie for the top honour when the Punjab chess championship commences in Sahiwal from July 18.The executive council of the Punjab Chess Association decided to hold the five-day competition in a meeting on Saturday.
Prizes will be given to top ten players with the winner pocketing Rs20,000.—Sports Correspondent
