ABBOTTABAD, June 22: Pakistan cricket team’s training camp concluded at the Abbottabad Cricket Stadium on Friday with good performances from Shahid Afridi and Shoaib Akhtar in the last ‘target match’ between Pakistan ‘A’ and ‘B’ teams.

Abdul Razzaq continued his excellent form with the bat to post 97 while Mohammad Yousuf made 69. Misbah-ul-Haq who could not find a place in the Scotland-bound squad, again batted well to score 56, after having made 66 in the first ‘target match’.

Both Afridi and Shoaib showed their quality in the second and final ‘target match’ as Afridi smashed eight fours and four sixes in his 50-ball knock for the ‘A’ team while Shoaib who bowled 12 overs in the 40-overs-a-side game took 3-61 for his team.

Batting first, Pakistan ‘A’ scored 289-6 off the allotted 40 overs as Yousuf (69) and Afridi (98) remained the main scorers while Najaf Shah took three wickets. The ‘B’ team, in reply, chased the required target successfully in 38.3 overs while losing five wickets as Razzaq collected 97 and Misbah 56.
