Jam Yusuf accused of corruption

By Our Correspondent

QUETTA, June 22: Mir Ghulam Nabi Rind, senior vice-president of the Balochistan chapter of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League, has alleged that Chief Minister Jam Mohammad Yusuf and some ministers belonging to the party are involved in corruption.

Addressing a press conference here on Friday, he said that a delegation would soon meet PML chief Chaudhry Shujjat Hussain in Islamabad and present a charge-sheet against the ‘looters’.

He said that some corrupt people had tarnished the party’s image in the province and called upon the high command to take action against them.

He said that under the leadership of President Musharraf the party had gained popularity in the country, but it could not benefit in Balochistan because of some ‘opportunists’ who were interested only in financial benefits.
