Moroccan tests positive
PARIS, June 19: A Moroccan using his French Foreign Legion identity tested positive for the banned blood booster EPO (erythropoietin) following the Paris marathon, according to sources here on Monday. The athlete registered for the race as Omar Jimila – the name used by the athlete in the elite French military unit – and underwent a doping control following his fifth place finish on April 15.—AFP
