Nepal awarded full member status

LAHORE, June 19: The World Blind Cricket Council has awarded full member status to Nepal on Tuesday, the Pakistan Blind Cricket Council announced.

Nepal becomes the 9th full member of the world body and now they are eligible to take part in the 4th World Cup in 2010-11.

The WBCC also announced bilateral tour between Pakistan and Nepal. In the first phase Nepal will tour Pakistan in March 2008 while Pakistan will pay return visit in Oct 2008.—Sports Correspondent
