KARACHI, June 19: Seven ships including a car carrier with 300 units are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was brisk where half a dozen ships including China Star, APL Sokhna, and Mol Ability to unload and load containers, Pontica, to offload steel, Al-Wakra to load cement and Swat to offload crude oil were berthed after the departure of as many.

The ships, which departed included Gallant Wave, Tower Bridge, Nord Woge, Oel Victory, San Jiang Kou and Al-Mansourah, while B Europa, Mol Ability, Al-Wakra, and Swat are due to sail out on Wednesday.

A total volume of 0.124m tons comprising 21,575 tons of export cargo and 0.103m tons of import tonnage was handled on Tuesday.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: Four Bay, with crude oil, Conti Germany, Hyundai Advance, Harmony, Y.M.Energy, and Corin Thaikos, with containers and Dream Beauty, with 300 cars.
