Bureau Report

HYDERABAD, June 17: District nazim of Hyderabad Kanwar Naveed Jamil has said that had the previous governments worked efficiently to provide basic amenities to the people, the present district government would have been in a position to upgrade various facilities.

He was speaking at the inaugural ceremony of the newly constructed asphalt road at Rishi Ghat on Saturday night.

Nazim city taluka, Javed Jabbar, officers of the district government and a large number of elected representatives of the people attended the inaugural ceremony.

He said, it was the bounden duty of previous governments to provide basic facilities to the people such as water supply, sewerage, roads, health and education but it was not done.
