KARACHI, June 16: Three-year-old bay colt Cash Flow is favoured to win the feature event of the Gymkhana race meeting at the Karachi Racecourse on Sunday.

He is drawn in a pack of 10 runners, barring any last-minute withdrawal, in the concluding event of the day.

Those who case pose him serious challenge among others are filly Sweet Smile, chestnut Terrorist and dark bay filly Stormy Kiss.

Having won two races on trot Cash Flow failed to make it to the board in the last run on June 3 as he was not backed by the connection. Dream Rose also belonging to the same connection obliged the punters.

Five-year-old bay Jawan Bakht is fancied to make it two-in-a-row by claiming the supporting event.

He posted three-and-a-half lengths victory in top division of class VII under rider M. Nasir in the last run earlier this month.

His likely challengers are colt Red Rufus and filly The Princess Arab.

The present form of three-year-old chestnut colt Lava Man suggests that he will repeat his winning feat. He has been promoted to higher division of class VII after sprinting to glory in the last race.

Lava Man is likely to be chased by mare Sonia and bay colt Khyber for the places.

Three-year-old chestnut colt Shiracco should make amends by claiming the fourth race. Filly Queen Of Mirwa and filly Hi Darling are likely to settle for the places.

As many as 18 horses barring last minutes withdrawals, will face the starter in the third race where bay colt With Interest looks poised to make it two on trot.He is likely to be followed by Hamza Joy and Taneez but colt Mr. Mention Not can put up a good show if allowed to run on merit.

Seven-year-old bay Tun Baba Tun and five-year-old dark bay The Choice Of The Day are tipped to atone to the earlier loss in the opening two races.

A card of seven races has been chalked out for the day. The first race gets into action at 2.00pm.
