By Our Correspondent

GUJRANWALA, June 16: A raiding party of the Federal Investigation Agency claimed on Saturday to have arrested eight human traffickers and recovered fake documents from their possession.

FIA Additional Director Husain Asghar, on a tip-off, constituted a team which conducted raids at some hideouts and arrested Muhammad Ashraf (who was wanted in 13 cases of human smuggling), Nazir Ahmad in Malikwal (Mandi Bahauddin), Muhammad Latif in Gujrat, Aslam Changer and Anwarul Haq in Daska and Raja Azam, Nasir and Yousaf in Lahore.

The team recovered 20 fake visas and two passports, besides other documents from the suspects who had allegedly usurped hundreds of thousands of rupees from people for sending them to Greece, Turkey, Spain and other countries.

The police have registered a case against the suspects.
