India asked to withdraw troops

By Our Special Correspondent

LONDON, June 15: President of Azad Kashmir Raja Zulqarnain, who is on his first visit to the UK in his new capacity, on Friday asked India to withdraw its troops from the occupied Kashmir so that the people of Kashmir living on the two sides of the Line of Control could freely meet and communicate.

“This would give a tremendous boost to the confidence building measures,” asserted the AJK president while speaking at a news conference here at the Pakistan High Commission.

He called upon India to adopt a more positive attitude in the ongoing dialogue on the Kashmir issue with Pakistan.
