MULTAN, June 15: The Lahore High Court’s Multan bench on Friday termed the detention of 15 political workers illegal and ordered their release.

Justice Jahangeer Arshad declared illegal the detention of Shahid Mehmood, Ejaz Khan, Ghulam Murtaza, Nasim Sadiq, Muhammad Sarwar, Inayatullah Khan, Abdul Rashid, Saleem Iqbal, Hamid Nawaz, Muhammad Khalid, Ghulam Sarwar, Sultan Mehmood Daha, Abdul Majeed, Mirza Muhammad Talpur and Rahim Asif Mujaddadi and ordered their release. — Correspondent
