Major crops
KARACHI, June 15: Production of major crops of rice, wheat and sugarcane increased in 2006-2007 by 2.4 per cent, 15.6 per cent and 11.4 per cent, respectively, as compared to the corresponding period in 2005-2006, said Sindh senior minister Syed Sardar Ahmed in his budget speech here on Friday.—APP
