Four foreigners held in Taftan

By Our Staff Reporter

QUETTA, June 14: Border security authorities arrested four foreigners in the Taftan town on the Pakistan-Iran border who crossed into Pakistan without travel documents, official sources said on Thursday.

The sources said three of the arrested people were Turkish and one was Kyrgyz. “They crossed into Pakistan from Iran via an infrequent route,” said Mohammad Akbar, a senior official of the levies force.

He said initial investigation revealed that they had traveled up to Iran through legal documents but entered Pakistan illegally. The arrested people said they wanted to go to Raiwind.
