KARACHI, June 14: The Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA) will embark on constructing their own indoor complex as soon as they officially receive papers of about 1000 sq. yards of land by the government.
“The Sindh governor as well as the city Nazim has approved the land allotment to the PBSA in the CDGK Sports Complex, Kashmir Road,” the PBSA President Asghar Valika told Dawn on Thursday.
Valika added it was essential for the PBSA to have its own complex for the survival of the game, adding the indoor complex will attract youths and yield results in the next five years.
The PBSA, he said, also plans to construct hostel facilities at the same venue to help accommodate outstation players.
The PBSA official further revealed that he plans to meet a couple of new sponsors after the ongoing Asian meet and apprise them to take budding players in their fold.
