KARACHI, June 14: The Nazim of Malir Town, Ansar Ahmed Sheikh, on Thursday took serious notice of the water shortage in the town and directed the KWSB officials to arrange for a boosting pump at the Saudia Pumping Station from the town’s funds.

He issued the directives during a visit to the pumping station. The nazim also took serious notice of the water shortage in the bulk line of the pumping station’s tank.

Earlier, the town nazim called an emergency meeting of the KWSB officials and sought a report from them on the complaints regarding water scarcity.—PPI
