SCB’s Islamic banking brand

KARACHI, June 14: Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) launched its global Islamic banking brand ‘Saadiq’ at a ceremony here on Thursday, says a press release.

The bank intends to offer Islamic banking products and services such as credit cards, mortgages, auto finance, project finance and trade solutions.

SCB also introduced its new Shariah-compliant credit card on the occasion, which functions on a fixed-fee structure based on the Ujrah concept.
