KARACHI, June 13: Three ships carrying containers and general cargo are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where six ships, Splendour, an oil tanker, Wan Hai-315, Nyzdan, Hayley Nadhi, APL Yokohama and Y.M. Faha to unload and load containers were berthed.

Sailing was also active as nine ships, including Oel Express, Corin Thaikos, Cosco Shekou, Mol Admirat, Wan Hai-315, Victory-1, Zahra-4, Sea Princess and Rose were departed, while Y.M. Faha, APL Yokohama, Al-Wajba, Evdoxlo and Splendour are due to sail out on Thursday.

Owing to larger handling of liquid tonnage, the total tonnage soared to 0.154m tons comprising 18,970 tons of export cargo and 0.135m tons of import tonnage.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Calvin P. Titus, Tower Bridge, with containers and San Jiang Kou with general cargo.
