Drug addict murders fellow

LAHORE, June 12: A drug addict allegedly stabbed to death his fellow over drug sharing issue in Harbanspura on Tuesday.

Police said Shakil, 25, of Kotli Pir Abdul Rehman, was consuming drugs along with Liaquat. In the meantime, they had a quarrel and Liaquat attacked Shakil with a sharp edged weapon.

The injured was rushed to the Shalimar Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The body was shifted for autopsy.

SUICIDE: A Second Year student allegedly committed suicide by taking poison over a domestic issue on Tuesday.

Police said Sadia, a resident of Rustam Park, had a domestic dispute. Her mother snubbed her and she took poison.

She was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival.

Police have handed over the body to the family without autopsy.
