Passengers robbed

LAKKI MARWAT, June 12: The passengers of a Peshawar-bound bus were robbed on Khawjakhel road on Monday night, officials said.

Seven bandits boarded the bus, which was coming from Dera Ismail Khan at the Umar Adda point, they said. They forced the driver to change the route and diverted the bus towards Khawjakhel road near Tajazai.

They deprived the passengers of some Rs200,000, wristwatches and cellphones, police officials said.
