Donald going home for father’s funeral


MANCHESTER, June 11: England bowling coach Allan Donald is to fly home to his native South Africa between the third and fourth Tests against West Indies following the death of his father in Bloemfontein.

Donald, who has a five-week contract with England was informed his father Stuart had died on Sunday morning after collapsing at home.

The former South Africa fast bowler was due to fly home on Monday to be with his family and attend the funeral, which is expected to be on Tuesday.—AFP
