KHAIRPUR: One shot dead

KHAIRPUR, June 9: One person died while ten others, including children, received injuries in an exchange of fire as a result of dispute over an agricultural land between two groups of Lashari community, in village Redhar, taluka Gambat, on Friday evening.

Mohammad Rafique Lashari 20, was injured in the firing who later died in the hospital on Saturday.

The deceased was a resident of Larkana and was visiting his relatives in village Redhar.

The other injured included Amanullah, Mohammad Nawaz and children Waqar, Mohammad Usman, Mir Mohammad, Kainat, Koonj, Savera, Sahibzadi and Sumera.

Wahid Bux Lashari has lodged an FIR with Gambat police on Saturday against six persons including Mohram, Irshad, Gohar, Sono, Ibrahim alias Dano and two other unidentified persons. However, no arrest was made till the filing of this report.
