Three hurt in Dera Bugti blast

By Saleem Shahid

QUETTA, June 8: Three Bugti tribesmen, including a former militant commander, were injured when a remote-controlled bomb went off in Dera Bugti on Friday.

“It was a local-made bomb that was planted near the Public Modal School on the main road of the town to target some important opponents of late Nawab Bugti,” said a senior official.

The tribesmen were going on a motorcycle when the bomb exploded.

Sources said that the powerful explosion rocked the entire town.

The condition of the two injured was stated to be serious.

Security was tightened in the town and police raided different places in search of saboteurs.
