JACOBABAD: Three drown in fish farm

JACOBABAD, June 8: Three persons, including a child, drowned in a fish farm in Khair Mohammad Khoso village, Thul taluka, on Friday.

Reports received here said that seven-year-old Mohammad Khan, Raja and Hanif were present at a fish farm when Mohammad Khan slipped and fell into the fish farm.

Raja and Hanif jumped into the farm to save the child but they could not make it and the three drowned.

The villagers took out the bodies and shifted them to their native village. All the deceased belonged to Banglani community.

WOMAN KILLED: A woman was gunned down by her brother-in-law and cousin on the pretext of karo-kari in Huzoor Bux Jamali village in the jurisdiction of the Mouladad police on Friday.

Inayat Khatoon, wife of Bhai Khan, was shot dead by her brother-in-law Rustam Jamali and cousin Habib at her house.

Bakhsh Ali, father of the slain woman, has lodged an FIR at the Mouladad police station against Rustam and Habib.
