KARACHI: Bail plea rejected

KARACHI, June 8: A division bench of the Sindh High Court comprising Justice Mohammad Afzal Soomro and Justice Rehmat Hussein Jaffrey on Friday rejected the bail application of an OT technician, Akram Nadeem, employed by the Sindh Government Hospital, Orangi Town.

Akram Nadeem is facing charges of having acquired properties through illegal means in the name of his wife. According to the court, he had also opened a clinic in North Nazimabad where he not only posed as a doctor but also performed operations.

He was arrested by NAB in March under the reference No. 21/2007.
