13 more men of political parties held

SIALKOT, June 7: Police arrested 13 more activists of the PML-N, the PPP and the MMA in Sialkot and Narowal districts on Thursday.

Sources said the police continued the crackdown on activists of political parties in Sialkot, Daska, Sambrial, Uggoki, Satrah, Pasrur, Chawinda, Badiana, Shakargarh, Zafarwal,

Baddo Malhi, Noor Kot and Narowal.

Police had arrested more than 92 activists of these political parties in Sialkot and Narowal districts during the last two days.

Daska PML-N president Dr Khalid Luqman strongly condemned the arrests.

Meanwhile, police released senior journalist and PPP leader Rasheed Ahmad Sandhu after keeping him in detention for three days.
