Patwari sentenced for fraud
SAHIWAL, June 6: The anti-corruption court here on Wednesday handed down five years rigorous imprisonment to a revenue patwari for making a bogus transfer of land.
According to anti-corruption establishment, patwari Nawaz on Nov 18, 1998, transferred18 kanals of agricultural land of widow Rajan in the name of one of his relatives.
The ACE had registered the case and arrested patwari.
