KARACHI, June 6: The State Bank of Pakistan has given one-time extension to ready-made garments exporters for filing of R&D claims by July 14, 2007.

According to a SBP EPD Circular, the Ministry of Commerce with a view to further facilitate the exporters of ready-made garment in the Export Processing Zones, has advised that those R&D claims of EPZ units, where shipment was made during 19-01-2006 to 14-04-2006 (both dates inclusive), may now be processed for payment by giving them one time extension for filing of such cases.—APP
