LAHORE, June 5: While the Punjab Olympic Association’s general council has decided to write a letter to its national chapter for making poor arrangements by the Sindh Olympics Association (SOA) for the 30th National Games, it also disaffiliated the Punjab Judo Association (PJA) on Tuesday.

The POA Secretary Idris Haider Khawaja told reporters it was decided to write a letter to the POA regarding the mismanagement and disgraceful attitude of the organisers at the National Games.

Khawaja added the house had also disaffiliated the PJA for the violation of the constitution and misconduct of Naved Mahmood, secretary PJA by changing Farhat Hussain Siddique as president PJA to appoint Mrs Sameena Khan as the new president.

He said the house also decided to hold 70th Punjab Games from Oct 27-29 in Lahore.
