Man killed in Peshawar blast

PESHAWAR, June 4: A man was killed and three others were injured when a bomb went off in a truck in the Hayatabad Industrial Estate on Monday.

The blast occurred at around 10am when the labourers were unloading scrap from the truck at the Frontier Foundry.

The deceased was identified as Nihad of Chargulli village in Mardan. Bomb disposal squad personnel said that the truck which had arrived from Chaman had an unexploded shell.

Foundry owner Nauman Wazir said that the NWFP received three to four trucks of scrap from Chaman.

BOMB HOAX: A bomb hoax created panic at the Judicial Complex on Monday.
