KARACHI, June 4: Four ships carrying general cargo, containers and crude oil are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where over a dozen ships, including container vessels, with general cargo, oil tankers and to unload coal were berthed after the departure of 10 during the last two days.
The ships, which departed included, among others, Lalazar, Golden City, Calmy corl, Oel Victory, Liquid Success, Soon Fu, Kho Cheng, Comorin Pride and Wahai-303, while Rose, Uthal Navee, Asian Queen, Good Trade, Oel Esteem, Aka Bhum, Ibn Younus, Iran Shahryar and Wadi al-Rayan are due to sail out on Tuesday.
A total volume of 0.288m tons comprising 67,896 tons of export cargo, including 13,845 tons of cement and 1,790 tons of rice and 0.220m tons of import tonnage was handled during the last two days.
The following ships are due on Tuesday: Sinar Bandung, APL Brisbane, Harmony, with containers and Swat, with crude oil.
