HYDERABAD, June 2: An MNA of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Mohammad Parvez Qureshi, and 12 party activists suffered injuries in an attack allegedly made by activists of Pakistan People’s Party in Hatri late on Friday night.

Police registered an FIR on Mr Qureshi’s complaint against 50 people under sections 324, 147, 148 and 337 PPC.

Reports said that more than 50 PPP activists armed with sticks and hatchets attacked Mr Qureshi and his colleagues in Hatri when he was inaugurating the installation of an electric transformer.

The injured were moved to the Civil Hospital.
