Harvey’s appeal turned down


LONDON, June 2: The England and Wales Cricket Board has refused to budge on Ian Harvey’s attempts to register as a non-overseas player. Harvey’s citizenship application has become stuck at the Home Office with a drink-drive conviction meaning it can’t be processed. “The ruling that Derbyshire would be able to continue to select him as an unqualified player,” the ECB said in a statement.—Agencies
