MIRPURKHAS, June 2: Activists of Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) observed a sit-in and a token hunger strike in protest against enforced disappearance of Dr Safdar Sarki in Umerkot on Saturday. Party leader Ali Hassan Chandio said in his address to the protesters that the establishment could not bear Dr Safdar Sarki because he was struggling for the rights of Sindh. He suspected that he was being kept in illegal confinement.
Later, party activists including Sajan Arisar and Abdullah Banglani observed a token hunger strike.—Correspondent
